The Indiana Pacers’ season is essentially over, but if you are looking for someone to plug into a playoff spot then Indiana has a couple things on their side. Firstly, they have another guard that can stretch the floor and has a bit more oomph to his shot. Secondly, they still have a good supporting cast around them. They have a dynamic backcourt, a couple of young players, and are still one of the best overall teams in the league.
All of those guys have got something going for them and they have got their role to fill. In the case of Roy Hibbert, he comes in as a solid backup point guard while Roy is already known for being one of the best defenders in the league and can really shoot the rock.
It comes at a solid price to fill in at the point guard, especially when you are just starting out in the league. A lot of people want to trade Roy for Rudy Gay or Carmelo Anthony at this point, and while there are some that think Hibbert fits perfectly, it’s very tough to ignore the upside here.
